Fall family photos at Crissy Field is a classic setting for San Franciscans. With the Golden Gate Bridge in the background and grass as far as the eye can see, it allows for children to run and play while the adults get that iconic setting they love.
Did you know this is one of my first family clients? Yaaassss, and I just adore them. The first time we met, mama was pregnant with that little guy there. The eldest was probably about the age of his baby brother. Now he’s doing basic math. lol. I love that this family has made it priority to have their family photographed every year. Because, wow, their family has changed and grown so much. And, wow again, how life comes in and makes changes for us.
Every year our conversation starts with where they want their fall family photos taken. The first year was Ocean Beach then Golden Gate Park, last year was Lover’s Lane and this year they decided on Crissy Field. I should probably start scouting a location for next soon! jk There’s so many great locations in San Francisco to choose from I could never run out of great options.
This family has a lot to celebrate this year with health being at the top of their list. This photo shoot was actually an extended family shoot. Yup, both sets of grandparents and aunts were standing behind me while I took these. They had an audience and totally rocked it! I might share a few extended family photos in a different blog post. I just felt their nucleus family deserved its own post.
