It was a beautiful setting for their pregnancy photos on the ocean bluffs at sunset. San Francisco was hot that evening and we were all sweating. It felt like one of those nights where you might go salsa dancing all night (I’m not a salsa dancer but I secretly wish I was!). We made the short hike from where we parked to the ocean bluff just in time for sunset. The Golden Gate Bridge was to the right of us and the sun was setting over the Pacific Ocean to the left of us. Their dog, Lou, came along for the photo shoot too. She was happy to hunt for flies which were flying in swarms around us. Maybe the heat invited all the flies out – there were a lot.
The pregnant expecting mom wore a fabulous long white kimono with orange flowers on it. She literally looked like a goddess. She changed into a boho orange and red shawl that looked like the sunset. Oh, and she wore a short white playful dress during our walk. I couldn’t resist taking some of her twirling in it. Like I said, it was a perfect night for pregnancy photos on the ocean bluffs at sunset.
We played on the ocean bluffs but the main event was walking the labyrinth. I shared those photos in a previous blog post, so if you haven’t seen those be sure too. It was amazing! Click here: Maternity Photographer SF | Walking San Francisco’s Labyrinth Pregnant.
This couple was really fun to work with. I can’t wait to meet their little guy soon. He’s so lucky to have such a loving family who’s excited to meet him and take him through this journey called life. Enjoy!
