You read the title right, this is a post of my very own meeee-maternity portraits. My lovely husband tried his hand at capturing a few shots. It’s not as easy as it looks he decided, so we kept it simple and took a few shots at our house. It was a fun husband/wife project and he really did do a great job for a guy who never snaps a photo – never ever – not even on his iPhone. It was also a great reminder that self-portraits are so hard to take (unless it’s a selfie, ha!) AND there’s a reason why people need profession photographers – so that they are included in their milestone events.
Feels like a lifetime ago already, but I’m so happy to have a few portraits from when I was pregnant. It was such a life-changing and magical time for me as I watched my belly grow. I was also one of those lucky women who actually enjoyed being pregnant, well, until I was two weeks overdue and cried everyday convinced I was going to become a medical anomaly for having the longest pregnancy in history.
Here are a few photos from when I was about seven months pregnant.
